How do I change my phone number

Have you contacted your carrier to change your phone number? If so, are you trying to change the number on your Apple ID?

You need to change/add the number on your Apple ID. You may have to add the new number before you can remove the old number. After the change, allow up to 24 hours for the change to sync. Before trying to make the change, sign out of Messages/FaceTime on all devices/computers.

I have already changed my number within the Apple ID already and the number was changed when j got the new phone.

What problem are you having using the new number?

my Apple wallet wants me to confirm the phone number on my new card and the number that shows up is my old phone number. I called the bank yesterday and changed the number.
