I'm running macOS High Sierra V10.13.6 on a MacBook Pro 15" 2010 ; I wish to upgrade to macOS Big Sur. How do I make that possible? JerryD
It's not possible. Big Sur requires a Late 2013 or later MBP.

Just to add, High Sierra is the latest version of macOS you can run.
