my new m1 macbook air keep shutting down

my new macbook air m1 which I purchased a month ago keep shutting down(blackout), contacted support but they just keep saying they can't do anything no refund no fixing. having a really bad experience and wondering if anyone can help.

I live in Tokyo and contacted Japanese customer support twice and have no remedy on this.

It shuts down just out of blue all the time. Sometimes it reboots quickly sometimes I have to just wait until next day. Ironically, I'm writing from my old macbook air which I bought in 2014 and I had no issue with this one for over 7yrs now and my new macbook air is 1 month old and keep shutting down...

Since it's new, I've tried not to install anything yet. Just using browser(firefox).

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 11.4

So you are saying that you contacted Apple Support directly and they couldn't/wouldn't help you? ... or did you contact someone else?

At this point, I would suggest that you run an EtreCheck report. Optionally, post its results here if you need assistance with interpreting its results. EtreCheck is a diagnostics tool that is very helpful in trying to understand what issues your Mac may be experiencing and includes any kernel panic or diagnostic reports that may have been generated by your Mac's operating system.

Hmm, well since Firefox is not a native app that comes with macOS, you did install something then.

Hi Tesserax,

Thank you for helping me.

Yes, I did contact Apple support in Japan. Twice right after it happened first time after 10 days of my purchase then this support couldn't find out the reason and couldn't help me. Then this issue happened couple of times after so I contacted support again around 1 month past then the support guy told me since it's past 1 month they couldn't replace or refund.

Thank you for your suggestion to run EtreCheck, I will try when it happens again.

It may not be a native app but I read the article that now firefox and chrome is optimized for M1 mac since December last year. The other thing is that I've been using firefox and chrome heavily(have lots of extension installed) on my 2014 macbook and had no issue for many years and why my less than 1 month old do this is just so pitty...
