If running iOS 13 or earlier versions, check: Settings - Passwords & Accounts - Accounts - Any rogue entries here? If so, delete the rogue account.

If running iOS 14, check: Settings - Calendar - Accounts - Any rogue entries here? If so, delete the rogue account.

Could “fetch new data” be a rogue acct? It’s the only unfamiliar thing that shows up in my list of Calendar accts. Last nite I got a Trojan horse warning to download something from apple to fix the problem. The “fix” software looked exactly like apple site!!! I did not do it, but still trying to verify that my iPhone was not infected.
