DASHBOARD disappeared from applications folder: using Big Sur

MacBook (12 inch, early 2016)

Equipment & Software in Use:

Problem:

- Dashboard software has disappeared from the applications folder (don't believe it was a problem prior to Big Sur upgrade)
- Dashboard alias still appears in applications folder
- Dashboard icon on dock appears but is grayed out and does nothing when clicked on

What I've tried:

- Used Finder to search for "Dashboard" on the hard drive but found nothing
- Tried "fix alias" but original app was not found
- Didn't see what I think I need in App Store to re-install

Your ideas or fixes appreciated!

Dashboard was removed as of macOS Catalina 10.15.
