New iPhone not working with HomeKit

Due to a damaged camera I had to replace my phone this week. Now my HomeKit automations and shortcuts don't work. I'm sure this is operator error but I'm not sure what I need to do. Siri keeps telling me to set up the phone on the same network as the homepod which it already is. Help!

Widen you got your new phone did you reset HomePod and set it up again with the new phone from scratch? You need to do this, Reset HomePod - Apple Support
