Missing images on Flipboard.com in Safari on Mac

Go step by step and test.

1. Quit Safari, launch Safari holding the Shift key down.

3. Clear History

    Please read the article before clearing history, 

    this is like a low level resetting of Safari without affecting passwords and bookmarks.

4. If Safari doesn't open a webpage or isn’t working as expected

5. Enable Safari’s Develop menu.

   Click “Develop” in the menu bar and make sure “Disable Images” is  not enabled.

Website is working properly.

 Download EtreCheck: https://etrecheck.com/  and post the report here.

 Click, “Free Download” button and then  “Click to download” button,

 open Downloads folder, click on it to open, and then select ”Open”.

 Choose a problem” from the popup menu box, and then “Start EtreCheck” in the dialog.

 Click “Share Report” button in the toolbar and select “Copy report”.

 Click the “Page” button in the toolbar at the bottom of this page and paste it when you reply.

 Note: This is a diagnostic test. 

Do you have any anti-virus or vpn software installed?

I have the same issue, I tried all the steps above and still the issue persists. I will be very interested to see what results of this problem.
