I have an MFC-9340CDW Brother printer -- can't find scanner icon

I recently upgraded to a new MacBook Air. I can print but when I just tried to scan -- there is no "scan" option that I see. I to System Preferences >> Printers and Scanner >>> and see the icon for the printer. The options are "Open Print Queue..." and "Options & Supplies..." When I click on those later options, there is nothing that indicates scanning....

Download the Brother iPrint&Scan app from Apple menu > App Store and use it for scanning.
