Here's what's happening. Every time I record an 8 or 16 bar region or start a new drummer track, the entire regions just shoot out as though I'm dragging them across the screen. Regions repeating itself.. I don't know how it happened as I may have mistakenly used a wrong command somewhere in the project.

The snap below shows what's happening ever time I record a track or add a drummer track. I checked out the inspector and I didn't notice anything ticketed. I never used the inspector in this project anyway. Coincidently, this all started right after the last Logic Pro update.
Check the region and channel inspectors for a ticked loop indicator.
