battery discharging very fast

Hello everyone,

I am experiencing a charging problem here with my MacBook Pro 16 (2019),
OS Big Sur version 11.5.
The battery is currently discharging very quickly.
Usually after 4 hours of use (100% charged),
the battery is found at 0% for a fairly simple use.

I only browse the net and listen to music with no device connected to it,
therefore no resource-intensive application in use.

When playing videos on Youtube, the charge loses 1% every 2 or 3 minutes.
The number of cycles is 95 with a total charge of 8134 mAh (instead of 8790 mAH0).
I have performed SMC resets several times but it has no effect.

I think my battery is defective ...
Having been to the Apple store once before for a check,
they cleaned up the dust and told me the problem was fixed but it is not at all.

Thank you in advance for your help.

I have the same model MacBook Pro.

Please try these suggestions.

1. Startup in Safe Mode. https://support.apple.com/guide/mac-help/start-up-your-mac-in-safe-mode-mh21245/mac.

It also does a basic check of your startup disk, similar to using First Aid in Disk Utility

And it deletes some system caches, including font caches and

the kernel cache, which are automatically created again as needed.

2. Battery Management.

   How battery health management helps

The battery health management feature in macOS 10.15.5 is designed to improve your battery's lifespan

by reducing the rate at which it chemically ages.

The feature does this by monitoring your battery's temperature history and its charging patterns.

Based on the measurements that it collects, battery health management

may reduce your battery's maximum charge when in this mode.

This happens as needed to ensure that your battery charges to a level that's optimized for your usage

—reducing wear on the battery, and slowing its chemical aging.

Battery health management also uses the measurements to calculate when your battery needs service.
