Lost iphone

Hello apple i lost my iphone but i didn't activate the find my iphone option on it ? is there a way you locate it? i have proof that i am owner of the lost phone. Thank you

Click here for information; in addition, post notices around where you lost it, and if applicable, contact the Lost & Found department of the facility where you lost it.

Apple cannot locate it for you; most of the people who answer questions here are other customers, not Apple employees.
