unable to access kindle ebooks on my iPad

I am unable to access many kindle ebooks on my iPad.

I get: Error. Please remove the book from your device and redownload it. If the problem persists, try to deregister your application and reregister it.

This problem appears to have started after I installed the latest ios update.

I know how to remove a book from my library but I do not know how to redownload it.

If I deregister my application (how do I do this?) will I lose all my books from my kindle library?

Hi TammyW_03,

Thank you for your reply.

The problem was solved today at an Apple computer shop.

The key feature missing from all the information available on the internet was:

To Remove Download, PRESS on the book title.

To Download, PRESS on the title again.

So simple when you know how.

Perhaps that information will be of use to other Kindle / iPad users.

Best wishes,

Archie

Hello Kyrgyz16,

We understand that after updating the iOS, you're now unable to access books from your Kindle app. Since updating the iOS software, did you also install available app updates? If not, check to see if there are any available now, and specifically for the Kindle app: How to manually update apps on your Apple device

If there was an update available, and the issue continues, check out this resource from Amazon Support:

Download Books to Your Kindle App

Deregister Your iOS Kindle App

It isn't clear if this erases your library, so we recommend reaching out to Amazon Support to look into this with you too: Amazon: Help & Customer Service

Thanks, and take care.
