icloud mail forwarding

I recently got an android phone, and setup email forwarding from my icloud account to gmail. However it only seems to be forwarding *some* emails, not all. What is the problem?

If you set up forwarding, all of your email is forwarded. You should check your junk mail to see what messages may have been directed there.
