screen time on iphone

I have signed out of my apple id on my iphone, but I still have screen time activated on my apps. I have tried turning it off, but it requires a password, but I have forgotten it and there is no forgot password option for me to change it. Is it because the screen time settings have been set to 'this is my child's device' (I accidentally chose that option), and if so how can I change it?

If using IOS 13.4 or later or Catalina 10.15.4 or later, see the Apple Support article(s) below. Link to contact Apple Support at the end of the article.

Screen Time passcode reset.   *

If necessary,  you will need to restore the device to factory settings. Do not restore from a backup made when the Screen Time code was active.
