Why do I get the installation cannot continue as the installer file may be damaged ? Is it possible to get a new Update to correct this mistake ? I think this has something to do with the Chip itself.. Please fix this

Or are you really meaning an update to Big Sur ?? That would not qualify as an App.

There are no M1 MacBooks, please post to MacBook Airs or MacBook Pros.
