I WAS TRYING TO CLEAN UP MY MacBook Pro AND I DID SOMETHING WRONG AND NOW WHEN I TRY TO START IT UP I GET A MSG "THE VERSION OF macOS on the selected disk needs to be reinstalled"


and I have no backup means that I need to install it from another source

I hope this will get you to have frequent and regular backups once you resolve the issue. FYI it is impossible to recover accidentally deleted data from an SSD after the Trash has been emptied plus an SSD can fail at any time without any warning signs (including a brand new SSD). With USB-C model Macs it is extremely difficult to even impossible for even an expensive professional data recovery service to recover any data from an SSD if the USB-C Mac is non-functional.
