iCloud photos

the past few days my iphone 7 has been slow and glitching so I decided yesterday to backup my whole phone to iCloud and then reset my phone and downloaded everything back from the backup. Everything worked but my photos don’t seem to show up, if I log into iCloud on my browser all my photos are there but why not in my gallery?
