My apple keyboard will not allow me to type in my password.

What do I need to do to type in my password? Key board not talking to my new mac mini.

Keokipiko,

What type of keyboard are you using? If you’re using the Apple Keyboard (Magic Keyboard), you can plug the cable into the Mac directly to get it to recognize it. Apple has some additional tips available:

If you’re using a different keyboard, share the make and model and maybe the community will have some insight to help.
