Remote management
I brought my MacBook Air on the online Apple Store. It was refurbished but I can’t set it up as it is enrolled with a company or school. What can I do?

Contact Apple Support:
It seems Apple may never have disassociated it. So, contact them, requesting a swapout Mac. From your wording, it seems nothing on you; just a mishap on Apple's part.

Note: Phone calls are taking a bit to go through at the moment, due do lots of calls. With the Coronavirus Pandemic, many are at home at the moment, with much time on their hands to contact Apple. So, just stay on the line, and you will get through :)
