None of the app buttons on my IPhone are working and I can't shut it off because I can not slide the off switch. What do I do?

Try & Force restart your iPhone 7

Press and hold both the volume down button and the Sleep/Wake button at the same time. When the Apple logo appears, release both buttons. (DO NOT release Side Button when invited to Slide Power OFF).

Your iPhone is not necessarily in its last stages. This may all be related to a infrequent software issue. Below are some of the things that you can follow to keep your iPhone running smoothly.


Ensure that your iPhone 7 remains updated with the iOS version.

Ensure that you have ample free space on your iPhone 7. At least 10% - 15% of your iPhone’s total capacity should be in free available space.

Ensure that your Battery Health has not dropped below 80%.
