iCloud Photos and Albums

I finally decided to use iCloud Photos to keep my Library in Sync on the Mac Pro and iPad.

But, how does iCloud Photos handle Albums???

From what I can see is, all photos have been synced across both devices. Except, the Albums!

Searching for a answer with out any luck I am wondering if iCloud Photos even syncs the Albums across the devices. If not this a major fallback when organising 1000 of photos.

I would appreciate any info or help to get the albums synced on both devices.

Thank you

iCloud Photos does sync Albums (and Folders).

It has been several years since I first set up iCloud Photos and did the original sync, but at that time it took significantly longer for the Albums to sync. Photos synced first and albums synced later.
