How do I keep my iPad uploading to FB and YouTube? If I leave the app it stops, if the screen turns off it stops. I’ve never had this issue before with PC or Android. Is there a setting that needs changed?

Actually I might’ve just fixed it lol I googled the problem for a second time and this time something came up that said “the YouTube App itself needs to be changed. In the YouTube app go to Profile -> Settings -> UPLOADS -> Upload quality -> Full Quality”
I didn’t know that was a thing in the YouTube app, hopefully that fixed it.
Also I didn’t know that s-u-c-k-s and r-e-t-a-r-d-e-d were considered bad words 🙄 FFS

No, quite the opposite actually. I want videos to upload in the background, for some reason I am unable to upload 4K using the YouTube app but I can using LumaFusion but the app and the screen has to be on the entire time or it will cancel the upload, which means I can’t use my iPad for up to 24 hours or more while it’s uploading, which really *****! FB is the same and will only upload your videos when the app is in the foreground and the screen is on. Super annoy how things that are so simple and that make obvious sense are completely missing in IOS.

If we understand your post correctly, you'd like to stop some apps from running in the background on your iPad. We’d like to help.
Tap Settings > FaceBook and turn off Background App Refresh. Then tap Settings > YouTube and turn off Background App Refresh. You can also repeat this process for other apps.
If you'd prefer, you can tap Settings > General > Background App Refresh and select Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi & Cellular Data, or Off to turn off Background App Refresh entirely.
