I submitted a claim on Sept. 2nd and it still pending. I depend on my phone for personal and work. why is it taking too long to process. what kind of apple care is this!

You should contact Apple Care or Apple support using the "get support" link above. This is just a user forum. But, the claim was only submitted yesterday, I'd give it a few days.
