How much memory can I upgrade?

Hello! I have a iMac (Retina 5k, 27inch, 2019) with 3 GHz 6-Core Intel Core i5.

I want to upgrade the memory and would like to know what is the max amount I can upgrade to.

I've search around and seem to get different answers.

Is there a way to get a definitive answer?

Thanks!

Apple would only initially configure the 3.0GHz i5 model up to 32GB of RAM.

However, according to Apple all of the 2019 27" iMac models can use 64GB of RAM.

One vendor has tested the 2019 27" models up to 128GB of RAM, but there are reported issues.

Personally, I would just add 16GB to the existing or do the 64GB upgrade kit from either Crucial or OWC.
