How many backups does iCloud save for iPhone 11?

I accidently deleted an imessage thread.

is there any way to restore them? i looked at the backups but it only list one in the phone,

i need to go back to previous back ups.

A backup is exactly that - to recover data in the event of a catastrophe.

You are seeking an archive of backups. They don’t exist. There is no history of backups.
