Hacked! New Apple ID vs Old?

After being hacked, an ongoing nightmare to resolve, how might I set up a new Apple ID, delete the old and move all old data, references, et al to the new ID? I sure don’t want to lose access to a 30+/- year amassment of data! Perhaps the machinations might simply be to substitute the new ID in place of the old?🤷‍♂️


I’ve read where the FBI reports 6million cases of hacking reported last year and growing. Other sources project as high as 30 million. The tech companies are going to have to face the above real problem with

viable solutions… .

You can change the email that you use as your Apple ID without losing anything. See information in: Change your Apple ID - Apple Support
