Getting charged for music downloads individually
Hello-I have a family subscription plan and am billed monthly. I am getting charged for music downloads when I download from the music app.

Even when you have an Apple Music subscription you can still purchase music if you want to. To download Apple Music without purchasing and without an additional fee, see instructions in Add and download music from Apple Music - Apple Support
