Loading Big Sur

I try to load Big Sur, but get an error not far into it that says my network connection was lost (have Xfinity wifi). ???

iMac 27″ 5K, macOS 10.14

See if there is anything here—

If an error occurred while updating or installing macOS


In General—

Disable any VPN or Proxy servers you are using

Uninstall all third party apps that are Cleaners/Optimizers/Anti-Virus

Power Cycle your router

Do a safe boot if necessary  https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201262
