Smart Keyboard Return Sends Message

Carriage Return is send, as you’ve found.

Line break is control-return or option-return.

This akin to what Mac Messages does.

AFAIK, they all work the same here.

This works the same for any virtual software keyboards that work with iPads, in Messages, also, which is what I use.
