I have macOs big sur with 11.6 version and not able to connect to internet by usb adabter and there is even no ethernet option.
This computer does not appear to have any PCI Ethernet cards installed.

Did you attempt to add an Ethernet Service in Network System Preferences while your USB adapter was attached?
