Safari 15 Some problems

FYI, since this info may be important, but not listed as option below, I'm on a Mac Mini, late 2014.

Signing in to THIS community, authentication process indicated somebody was trying to sign in from Newark, NJ. I'm in VT. This is not reassuring.

Waking my Mini today, found what seems to be an old set of tabs in Safari which is always open and set to open with previous tabs. Yes, I have too many open tabs and not enough RAM, but that's probably not the problem here.

The tab bar has lost the ability to scroll from l to r and vv (see disclosure above re too many tabs). So we must use the new "Show tab overview" button to see inaccessible tabs. PIA!

Quick scan of posts here, I see I've only just begun to experience Safari 15 in all its glory. Maybe my issues have been addressed already. Sorry if so. And thanks.

It seems there a lot of bugs with Safari 15 and the new tab behavior is considerably different. I am sure things will improve as Apple releases updates such as Safari 15.1, etc. You should submit feedback via the Apple Feedback Assistant app. That's how you get your feedback straight to the developers. This is just a community forum of other Apple users.

I had some bizarre crash issues with Safari 15 and had trouble with it displaying corrupted images when dragging a tab or object outside of Safari. Switching from Compact tabs to Separate and back again seems to have resolved that issue.

Try using the new tab grouping options to reduce the total number of tabs you have open in a single window.

Very helpful, James. Thanks. My most recent set of tabs magically reappeared when I clicked on a link in an *email* to a site that was open in those recent tabs. Pretty wild! Glad to get them all back though.

Yes, working on the group thing right now. That should help me a lot with my chronic open tabs problem. Thanks for that too.

Now, off to get Apple Feedback Assistant app. Such a good tip.
