can i not use GarageBand created music in final cut
I'm making some music in GarageBand but final cut will not let me import it. Is this not possible?

Sure you can use it. The exported audio file has to be in ~/Music/GarageBand to be seen in the Audio browser. Otherwise you can import the .aif file from wherever it's stored using the import function.

Thanks, I went back in & saved it into music & all good. I'm just surprised I couldn't keep it in garageband. Thanks for you're help.
You mean the project? That’s just a database. There’s no media in it.
Ok I understand I think. Least I have it sorted & can save my file so i can import it to final cut
