cannot make wifi calls

Wow Really !!

Thanks for nothing. All I did was ask why it would be the carrier's fault when nothing changed other than upgrading to IOS 15

I have had this phone Since March and WiFI calling worked perfectly until the software upgrade. I can imagine the conversation with the carrier !

Mr Finch did not opine as to whether the two events either were - or were not - related.

However, he did accurately convey the fact that resolution of WiFi calling issues ARE wholly the purview of our respective carriers.

They ARE the only folks who can assist.

(I can DEF empathize; I’d almost rather get my teeth drilled than deal w/ my own carrier on a technical issue 😖 )

It was the way Mr Finch responded that seemed unnecessary,

I will try the various troubleshooting steps and if all fails call Bell Mobility. That will be a pleasant conversation !

I apologize for my reply. Chattanoogan is correct in his response. And you have my sympathy for having to deal with Bell. However, you did not say that it had worked previously, and I am not a mind reader, so I assumed it had never worked.

You need to contact your carrier, as they control that feature.

Tell you what. Don’t take advice you were given. But if you aren’t going to take advice from knowledgable other users why post in a user to user forum at all?

Some carriers required updates for features to continue on iOS 15. My carrier required an update and all features were available again.

We are all good. I did however state in my first post that WiFi calling worked prior to the IOS 15 update.

Ah, my mistake again. I was reading the original post from Pawnature when I responded to yours. I shouldn’t post before my 1st coffee!
