Game centre and Restrictions

Hi,

I have screen time installed on my kid’s iPad (child account). Under Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions > Content Restrictions I have set Multiplayer Games and Adding Friends to Allow. However she can’t access multiplayer (specifically in Lego Brawls on Apple Arcade). I get the message Multiplayer features are disabled. Enable from Game Center. The only way is to entirely disable content restrictions which I don’t feel comfortable doing. Is there a way to enable restrictions but allow game centre?

Thanks for getting back to me, I have attached the current game centre restrictions set.

I have also tried setting all restrictions to their least restrictive setting - but this did not work either. The only thing that seems to enable the Apple Arcade game to work however seems to be turning off content restrictions in their entirety.

The game in question is Lego Star Wars Battles.

Hello millsey89,

We'd love to assist you with getting your restrictions setup properly. You have done some great steps to try to resolve the issue on your own. Do you have the option set to allow everyone or just with friends? If you have just with friends only selected, does choosing with everyone resolve the issue?

Also, does enabling the other multiplayer option in Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions > Content Restrictions, under the Game Center section?
