No. Target Display Mode is not supported.

However, you can enable Sharing > Screen Sharing on your MacBook Pro and using Apple's Screen Sharing application on the iMac, connect to your MacBook Pro and present its screen on the iMac. The keyboard and mouse on the iMac will interact with the MacBook Pro screen, and you can drag/drop files/folders between both Macs.

You will need to visit System Preferences > Security & Privacy panel on the iMac, and set the following Firewall options, so the screen sharing session from your MacBook Pro can get through:

When I am not screen sharing, I click the Block all incoming connections.

The Apple Screen Sharing application is at the following location, and I just drag/dropped it onto my Dock. In the Finder, click shift+command+G to open the Go to Folder panel, and copy/paste the following into it:

/System/Library/CoreServices/Applications

With the MacBook Pro powered and networked, when you launch the Screen Sharing application, it will expect you to enter the hostname of the other Mac as hostname.local. You can also see this hostname in your Finder sidebar Locations under Network. When you are done, close the screen sharing screen, and quit the application.

The macOS user guide has the following section: Share the screen of another Mac if you need it.
