Phishing email

I received an email from someone saying my Apple account was locked because someone tried to log in on an unfamiliar device. The website wanted my social security number, my credit card number, etc. I did not send that in because it seemed suspicious. Please let me know if my account is blocked. I logged out of that website and signed into apple.com and had no problem. Please advise

Linda

If you "logged in" to that website with your Apple ID and password, you divulged it and need to change it as soon as possible if you can still access it. See: Change your Apple ID password - Apple Support

If you can't change it, see: If you think your Apple ID has been compromised - Apple Support
