Catalina, Mackbook Pro 2012 - Error: panic(cpu 0 caller 0xffffff802108d24c): Sleep transition timed out after 180 seconds

Hello, newly installed, 2012 MacBook Pro, Formatting APFS, installed Catalina. The trouble seems to be around when it comes out of sleep mode, and when I try and start working again, it freezes – usually to the point where I have to reboot. (See below error). Serial number: C1MK2ED2DTY3

Some apps are more difficult to work on again after it being in a sleep state, with Outlook being the worst. I’m having to reboot between 6 and 8 times a day. panic(cpu 0 caller 0xffffff802108d24c): Sleep transition timed out after 180 seconds while creating the hibernation file or while calling rootDomain's clients about upcoming rootDomain's state changes. Thread 0x9d6a. Failure code:: 0x00000000 00000013

Please can someone assist me with steps to fix this?

Thank you

MacBook Pro
