Powerbeats pro no sound from right earbud

Powerbeats pro purchased in April of 2021. Right earbud does not turn on/play sound when placed in ear. Bud does not respond to volume control or button press.

Tried forgetting and re-pairing. No sound or function.

Did a hard reset and the bud re-connected and worked for two days, then stopped working exactly as before. Buds are in a plugged-in case when not in use (only used an hour at a time at most)
