locked apple watch
bought an apple watch from Ebay and it has an activation lock on it. What can I do?

Return it for refund. You've purchased a watch you can never use. Or, get the owner who set the lock on the watch to remove Activation Lock. But the chances of you finding the real owner of the watch to remove activation lock isn't very high. People sell stolen items all the time.
Apple won't help you. It's a theft deterrent system. We can't help you either.
