Music and Airplane Mode

Why, all of a sudden can I NOT play music in my iPhone while in airplane mode?!? And before being instructed to restart the phone…I’ve done that. Before it suggested that I have to download my music to the phone, I’ve had an iPhone since 2007 and my music has ALWAYS been “downloaded” and on my phone—unless it wasn’t or now, just isn’t.

I really need an explanation (and then a solution) of why I am having issues with my phone.

thanks.

Hello Kmhmusiclover,

Thanks for participating in Apple Support Communities. We understand that you're not able to listen to your music when using Airplane Mode. You mention the music is always downloaded. If you delete one of the songs that doesn't play and download it again, does that help? Just in case, here's a great guide to follow: Delete music, movies, and TV shows from your device

Keep us posted.

Take care.
