Storage

Hi, I have 2TB iCloud storage signed up and altogether 256G photos and videos. It is showing up my photos is taking up 4G worth of memory out of all 32G I have in my storage. Is there anyway i can reduce the 4G of photos in my phone storage.

With that many photos, even if you optimize storage, the photos are still going to take up space on your phone.

Manage your photo and video storage - Apple Support


You could download the photos to a computer, and the delete them from the phone. They will also be deleted in iCloud, but the photos will be stored on your computer.
