Can not play west game anymore on my iPad4 what is the problem and how do I fix it / what do I need todo toget it fixed

Your iPad4 (WiFi Only model) is incapable of update beyond iOS 10.3.3.

Update support for iPad4 ended September 2017. The final iOS releases for this model were iOS 10.3.3 (WiFi Only models) and iOS 10.3.4 (WiFi & Cellular). iPad4 cannot be updated to any later major version of iOS as it lacks the minimum hardware requirements needed to run more recent versions. The 32-bit platform upon which the iPad4 is based is obsolete.

Most App Developers have dropped support for 32-bit devices and iOS versions preceding iOS11/12/13 - and have withdrawn older versions of their Apps from the Apple App Store. Withdrawal of Apps supporting older models of iPad is making their utility and usefulness significantly more limited.

If Apps that you need to use now have higher minimum iOS-version requirements, your only option is to replace your iPad with newer model. Of current models, even the entry-level iPad9 supports current iPadOS 15 - and has hardware specifications and capabilities that vastly outperform your old iPad4.

If you have an iPad, 4th gen, then it will not update past iOS 10.3.3, unless a cellular will update to iOS 10.3.4. If the game requires a higher iOS to operate, then there isn't anything you can do. Check with the game developer to see.

I just checked the West game app in the iOS App Store and it still states compatible with iOS 10 devices.

For iPad models with a Home button, try a simple hard reset of your iPad by holding down both the Home and sleep/wake/power button simultaneously until your iPad goes to black and restarts with Apple logo, then release the buttons.

I was going go suggest, also, deleting the game and reinstaling it, but if you do this, you will lose ALL of your progress in this game.

Try the simple hard reset of your device first.

I have done exactly both some time ago since I have the game backed up I don't lose everything I've done the hard reset and deleted the game and it's still doing same thing I mean I don't even get to go to welcomepage where it's saying it's loading nopejust goes to where I see the west page pic and poof out of game been doing that since last update I am seriously thinking new device but I mean it's not within my economic means at this time

Not knowing what is happening that is preventing you from playing, I suggest that you contact the game developer to ask for support for their game.

You cannot update past the iOS 10.3.3 except to purchase a new iPad. If you go to Settings>General>About, what is the current iOS on the iPad?
