how do I upgrade an iMac (late 2013) to Catalina?

I believe my iMac is eligible to upgrade the OS from High Sierra to Catalina. After I search for Software updates, I do not receive the Catalina option.

Verify Compatibility:

What's the Model of your Mac:

  1. Go to: Apple Menu
  2. Select: About This Mac
  3. View: Second line-down
  4. See if your Model is Shown Here: macOS Catalina is Compatible with these Computers - Apple Support

If it is not shown, then it just cannot be installed.
