Messages not recognizing phone number on iMac and iPad

Usually I can read texts on all my apple devices. As of yesterday iMessage does not recognize my phone number on the iPad or iMac. I do not have the option, it seems, to enter my phone number in iMessage. I don't get messages shared across devices any longer. I have not adjusted any settings but wonder if something may have been updated that I don't know about..
