I need to change the apple id on me new phone; I erroneously put in the same apple id as existed on my wife's iphone. I now get all of her texts, pictures, etc.
I think I want 2 separate id's; one for each phone.

To create a new Apple ID for the new phone, you can use Apple's website, or other device. The best way would be to just reset the new phone, and then while setting it up, you can now create a new Apple ID for that device. You can check out the website here on how to reset your iPhone.
