Safari 15 on macOS Monterey is showing safari 14 tabs

Hello!

When on Big Sur and safari 15, the tabs were new looking with rounded corners and stuff. after updating to Monterey, they looks like safari 14 tabs again.

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 12.0

The press has reported that Apple changed the tab design of Safari in Monterey when using "Separate" tab layout back to what it was before. This was done very late in the development/testing cycle, and reportedly was done due to negative feedback from beta testers on the new design. The "new look" tabs can reportedly still be seen when using the "Compact" tab layout.
