update from 11.4 to 11.6.1

Hello. Can I update from Big Sur 11.4 straight to 11.6.1? I didn't seen any updates in-between, but then I was looking via System Prefs rather than About this Mac. I'm keen to have the latest security.

Yes, you can go straight to 11.6.1.

Apple only ever has one version of the OS to update to, and that is the latest one available.

The update will contain any updates and fixes in previous updates if you have skipped some.

If you want the latest security, check if your Mac is compatible with macOS 12 Monterey and update to that instead. As that is the latest macOS version currently available.
