What browser exactly?


The built in Safari Browser can be updated from the Apple Menu->Software Update option if any updates are available for the main version currently on your system.


Otherwise, you would need to update your macOS version to get newer main Safari version. If your Mac is running 10.10 Yosemite as your tag line suggests, you would need to update to something else to get a Safari version greater than 10.


For 3rd party browsers, they each have their own update methods from within there own settings and menus.
