i have a macbook pro running big sur. when i'm using the keyboard to enter text the music app will open up (it happens randomly, usually more than once a day). it is not listed in my login items. i couldn't find a keyboard shortcut to open it. if there is a shortcut perhaps i am inadvertently hitting the keys with my lousy typing skills.
i've seen other posts about this but they usually involve the music app quitting and then reopening.

If you press the Play/Pause key (or F8 on most Mac keyboards) on your keyboard when there isn't any audio playing from any other app (like Safari, Chrome, or Spotify, for example), your Mac might open the Music app.
