To use Safari, must sign-in using apple ID

Every time I need to use Safari, I am being forced to sign-in using apple ID. Why is this the case? I have spoken to others that have an I-phone that they are not required to perform this action. I suspect my setup may be incorrect.

Thanks

Hello gls555,

Thank you for reaching out to Apple Support Communities, and we'll be happy to help in any way we can. We understand you're having issues with having to sign in with your Apple ID when using Safari. Does this occur on a specific site? Do you have Sign in with Apple activated? This link will show you how to check, and how to disable it if needed: Sign in with Apple on iPhone

We hope this helps.

Cheers!
